Our commitment

Mia Airport Villas is committed to making our website usable by as many people as possible. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA wherever practical.

Features implemented

• Skip-to-content link for keyboard users.
• Semantic HTML5 landmarks (header, nav, main, footer).
• One meaningful <h1> per page and a logical heading hierarchy.
• Keyboard-accessible navigation and dialogs, including visible focus indicators.
• Accessible cookie-consent banner and preferences dialog with focus management.
• Descriptive alt text for meaningful images and empty alt for decorative images.
• Fluid typography using clamp() and responsive layouts tested at common viewport widths.
• Support for prefers-reduced-motion to reduce animations.
• Sufficient color contrast for text and interactive elements.

Known limitations

• The Contact page embeds a Google Maps iframe, which is provided by a third party and may not fully conform to our accessibility standards.
• Some inline SVG icons are decorative; their meaning is conveyed by adjacent text labels.
